What Causes Recurring Vomiting Post Injury?

I m so concerned about my 28th month old toddler. Yesterday we went to the park and as I was pushing him on the swing he let go and fell on his belly. Now he is throwing up constantly. Is this something that heal with time or should I take him into the emergency room.
