Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
After sitting at my desk for an hour or so, my lower body sometimes feels very weak when I rise and I have to lie down. I m not dizzy, my legs are just very weak. This usually passes within 5 minutes. I have had lumbar and thorasic MRIs and seen a neurosurgeon who said it is NOT a spinal issue, but may be vascular. Any thoughts?
I also think it can be a vascular issue. You may need to visit a vascular surgeon. You may need to do an angiography to see the conditions of your arteries. Possibly arteriosclerosis or arteritis may be causing your symptoms.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka , General & Family Physician
