What Causes Recurring Welts After Insect Bite?
hi doctor ,i had caterpillar bite n it was rash of welts.i was given dexa to stop further growth of the rash and candacort to dry the welts.they dried but one or two welts keep recurring always.even after getting another doze of dexa n continous applications of the cream.tthey dry then another shows up,wat would be the problem ?

Need not to worry Triple antibiotic ointment is the best treatment for your symptoms. Short courses of oral cortisone or steroids are taken for short periods (one to three days) to settle more severe symptoms. You should avoid itching and pricking of rashes. You may take Vitamin C and apply calamine lotion on the rashes. Visit dermatologist once and get a complete examination done and start treatment accordingly.
