What Causes Recurring Yeast Infections In Vagina?

Hi I am 27 years old and married. I suffer from vaginal infection caused by yeast. This infection has taken place 3-4 times till now before and after marriage. I want to know the route cause of this repeated infection and is this problem is serious to gofor any specific tests?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Fungal infection is managed with anti-fungals.
However, if the fungal infection is recurrent, systemic or oral treatment for the infection is required.
The cause for recurrent fungal infection has also to be found.
Recurrent fungal infection can occur due to low immunity, high blood glucose, etc.
Incomplete treatment can also lead to recurrent fungal infection.
Thus, I suggest you to get blood glucose level checked to rule out diabetes mellitus infection.
