What Causes Red And Painful Lump Between Labia Minora And Majora?
I have a lump between my labia minors and major (it keeps autocorrecting). It s red, but more like the color of my skin and painful. I also found white dots surrounded by redness below it. Is this herpes or something else? I m going to get it looked at in a few days but I m really nervous.

First of all, I would like to ask whether is it associated with itching? If yes then it could be underlying fungal infection. Secondly, if you are sexually active woman then I would recommend you to test for HSV 2 IgM and IgG test to make it is not herpes simplex 2 infection. Did you take Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) vaccine during your adolescences? I would recommend you to do above test.
