What Causes Red Bite Mark On Left Arm?

I woke up this morning and as I was getting out of bed, I got terrible dizzy and almost threw up. Later I noticed a red bite mark on my left arm that allowed a little blood out. I am wondering if I got bit by something during the night and what should I do about it ?

Hi.
As per your case history you are having insect bite dermatitis.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic plus steroid cream like fusiderm-b cream twice daily on it.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
