Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
3 to 4 red blister like bumps appeared on lower middle part of my back. Then all of a sudden they are turning black. They were sore but not now . What could cause these bumps? I am exposed to spiders and several other critters that live in the crawl space.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of red blisters on the lower back which seems to be due to hair follicle infection by bacteria and as sebaceous glands are abundant there so clogging of skin pores by bacteria, debris and dead decaying substances. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to maintain cleanliness of area and keep it dry. You should take diet rich in multivitamins and apply betnovate cream 2-3 times a day. You should apply topical antibacterial ointment mupirocin on it. Avoid touching or pricking it. You should apply vitamin E Oil at night as well. Wear loose clothes. Take oral antibiotic course as well. Visit dermatologist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper prescription.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
