What Causes Red Blotches On Arms Spreading To Face And Chest?
I have been getting red blotches on my skin. It started on my left arm and has gradually spread to the right arm, my face and upper chest. I saw my family physician about them and he thought it might be just a ras so I bought an OTC antihistamine but nothing has changed and that was two or three months ago. He has made an appointment with a dermatologist but it s not until September 22nd.

According to your complaints it can be a photosensitive rash.
Use steroid cream like mometasone furoate cream on the affected areas twice daily and apply a high spf sunscreen on the exposed areas at intervals of 3-4 hours during the day time.
This should help your rash.
