What Causes Red Bowel Movement?

Yesterday my 19 year old son pased out for a few minutes while weed eating, and today his bowel movement was red. The toilet water was light red.. Should I be concerned? He did drink a red gatorade but I don t think that would make it red.He doesn t have much of an appetite either. Thanks, Mary

As you told, your son had ingested some red colored drink, it may cause the bowel red. So, you should for a couple days so that he will passed all color. If the red color is persisting even after that, then you should consult physician.
