What Causes Red Bump Near The Clitoris After Having Intercourse?
On april 23rd I had implanon implanted in my arm for BC. One month later exactly I had it removed because the symptoms were terrible for me. Then I tried another type of BC but pill form for about a week and I bled and bled for almost 3 weeks. So I quit. Now I am noticing my clitoral area is sometimes is not sensitive at all..hardly any sensation. So here is my question, now after I have intercourse with my husband about a day after I notice a teeny tiny red dot just on one side of my clitoral hood. Sometimes ut will change sides. Why is this happening?
Hi there, I have understood your concern and I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.
First of all do not panic.
From your description it looks like some kind of infection or inflammation. I will suggest you to apply ointment containing antibacterial and antifungal and mild steroid agents locally 2 times a day for 5 days. Avoid sexual activity for a couple of weeks, and avoid rubbing or friction in that area.
I hope this answer helps you. Thanks. Dr. Purushottam Neurgaonkar.
