What Causes Red Bumps Around The Pubic Area?
Hi, I noticed about 2 months ago some red pimple like bumps around my pubic area. Some bigger than others, and some of them have whiteheads. I thought it was just zits or ingrown hairs, but they haven t gone away and continue to spread. I m curious and worried as to what it is and if it is contagious?

I really appreciate your concern, such lesion could be due to bacterial infection and it can be treated with antibiotic and best drug would be Amoxicillin 500 mg three times in day, local application of Povidone Iodine ointment is also equally necessary, along with that care need to be taken for best hygiene, for the pain and inflammation Tab Ibuprofen 400 mg three times in day can be tried hope this information helps.
