What Causes Red Bumps On Shoulder, Neck And Ankle?
My son has three red bumps on shoulder/neck. The two on shoulder are semi close prob about a thumb width apart and the other on neck is a few fingers apart I noticed one on his ankle and another on the back of one of his legs. He jumped up from couch yesterday saying something was biting him and then within mins later the spots appeared. No new spots today. Any ideas?
Hello and welcome to HCM, A history of something biting is the most probable cause of red bumps on shoulder and neck. An anti-histaminic drug preparation will help to relieve the red bumps and irritation or pain caused by them. However, other possibilities have to be ruled out. Thus, a clinical assessment of the red bumps is required to rule out any other cause for these red bumps. Thus, consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment and prescription of anti-histaminic preparation.
