What Causes Red Bumps On Stomach And Back After Taking Amoxicillin?

I recently got Amoxicillin and Hydrocodone for my jaw since I had an infection from receiving oral surgery last summer and tooth shards are trying to come through. I noticed yesterday these red bumps forming mostly on my stomach and back and a couple on my thigh and they are spreading rather quickly. They look like raised red bumps but don t itch or burn. It looks like a pimple without the white stuff in it

Hi..
Can understand your concern..

As per your complain it seems that you are suffering from the side effects of amoxicillin as small raised bumps can happen as a side effect of amoxicillin.

I would suggest you to consult your doctor who has prescribed you with the medicines so that he can change your medicine with other antibiotic which does not cause adverse drug reaction.

As of now you can take anti allergics like Benadryl for resolving the symptoms..
Apply Calamine lotion to soothe the skin and do cool compresses..
