What Causes Red, Bumpy, Itchy Rashes On Torso?

Hello. I have a red, bumpy, and more often then not, itchy rash on my torso. It s on both sides right under the breasts covering the ribs on each side. I was taking meds for cracked ribs which I have since weaned myself off of, naproxen for day and a perc for night. This started right after the accident. I thought it was because I used a back brace next to my skin. It is continuing and am thinking it must be the medication.

Hello,

Your rash can be due to Naproxen as it can cause urticaria in some people, also, use of back brace aggravates it and can cause contact dermatitis. I would suggest you to take anti histamine orally, available OTC and visit a dermatologist.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
