A few weeks ago i had poison ivy all up and down my arms. I knew it was poison ivy because i had to cut it off a fence for work. I used to get it all the time when i was a child so it wasnt that bad. I just ignored it. A week or so passed and it went away on my arms then i developed a red circle shaped rash on my side just below my armpit and an identical rash on my bicep that lined up with the one on my side if my arms were down. It was painful when i sweat so i went to a convenient care dr and was treated for poison ivy with a steroid shot. days passed and the rash did not go away. Now it has spread, I have a ten to eleven inch diameter circle of it on my back between my shoulder blades a few inch spot on my chest, behind one of my knee caps, and little spots of it all over my torso. IT IS NOT POISON IVY. No blisters no puss. Ive had poison ivy 100 times and this is not it. Its a dry rash that raises and becomes painful if i scratch it. Also when im working if i sweat or even my shirt rubbing against it its really painful. similar to a sunburn. Ive looked all over internet and cant find anything quite like it....what is it.
