What Causes Red Circles On Upper Side Of Cheekbones?
Hi ! I am a male of 35 from last year some red circles appear on the upper side of cheekbones then they turned into black now both sides of my nose also have these spots I never have such a problem in past rather I have a fair complexion plz suggest any med or remedy. .
Detailed answer - As per your query red circles on upper side of cheek bone which were initially red and now turned black is because of excessive production of skin protein keratin. This keratin surrounds and entraps hair follicles and for a hard plugging which is known as hyperkeratinization and prevents hair from exiting and form circles over there.
Well this condition is completely harmless and don't require immediate medical care. I Would suggest you to use steroid cream for relief. Keratolytic agents such as retinoids, urea, glycolic acid is effective in this case. Keep this area covered if going out in sun exposure as it will cause burning.
