What Causes Red Discoloration And Tenderness On The Forearm?
earlier yesterday i noticed my pointer was sore around the nail . yesterday evening my forearm near the wrist felt very tender then hours later i could make out a red discoloration about a half inch wide that started on top of my hand between the pointer and the thumn and ran down the inside /top of my arm just a little past my inside elbow .sore everywhere its red, what do you think i got doc ?

This is mostly due to cellulitis (infection of the skin). So better to consult a dermatologist and get done a clinical examination. You will need antibiotic cream and tablet.
