What Causes Red Eyelids And Itchy Eyes Along With Watering?
What can I do for a red eyelid? Itchy and eye keeps watering. Was seen by doctor 2 weeks ago. Given an Antibiotic Ointment for eye but it hasn t helped. Very itchy in corner of eye. Have been using same makeup and skincare products for years with no problem. This all started approx 2 months ago. I ve tried allergy relief eye drops.. Benadryl at night..nothing working.
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Red and watery eyes along with itching suggests you are having allergic conjunctivitis. Kindly wash your eyes thoroughly with boiled and cooled water. After drying with clean towel, you need to put eye drops containing antiinflammatory medication like Fluriprofen thrice a day. Along with that you need to take antihistaminic Tablet. Levicetrizine once a day. Avoid exposure to dust and bright light by wearing dark glasses. Your allergic symptoms should gradually reduce. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
