General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
Red eye with white discharge is mainly due to bacterial conjunctivitis.

Eye examination by ophthalmologist will help in diagnosis:
Maintain proper hygiene
Antibiotic eye drops: fusidic acid plus tobramycin
Put eye drops as frequently as once in a hour.
Avoiding close contact with others and use separate handker chiefs, towels, bed sheets. It will help to prevent spread of infection to others.
Tablet Monteleukast tab once a day,
Put lubricating tear/artificial teat drop.
So consult the ophthalmologist and take proper prescribed drug.
Hope this may help you
