What Causes Red Flat Splotch On The Inner Thigh Near The Vagina?

I have a red flat splotch on my inner thigh by my vagina. It s white on the inside and outlined in red. It does not itch or hurt but it has gotten bigger since a few days ago. Is this something to be concerned about? Should I be tested for an STD? Or this a fungal thing?
