What Causes Red Inflamed Clitoris?

I have noticed that my clitirus has been swollen the past few days. I first felt itching like it was nonstop itchy... Then it went away for most of today and then I went to the bathroom and noticed one side of my clitirus was inflamed and red. Not much pain. What could this mean? What should I do?

Hi,
From history it seems that due to itching on the part there might be having some bacterial infection producing swelling, pain and induration.
You might require one course of antibiotic medicine for 3-5 days.
Apply antibiotic cream after proper cleaning.
Keep local hygiene clean.
Ok and take care.
