Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been sneezing and I have red bumbs appearing all over my body in certain spots that slightly itch, I think its because of mold that was in my AC unit, I was wondering if you can cure mold poisoning or how long would it take for your immune system to kill the mold......im looking forward to your response.....im very concerned about my health.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have red itchy lumps all over the body. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like dermatitis , eczema , psoriasis , chicken pox , fungal rashes or scabies. I would suggest you to apply cold compresses to rashes to reduce redness and inflammation, take over the counter anti histamine like bendryl twice a day and protect your skin from drect sunlight . Consult dermatologist if condition doesn't get well . Doctor may order blood test , allergy test and skin patch test . Doctor may prescribe immunosuppressants , anti inflammatory along with antibiotics depending upon the diagnosis .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
