What Causes Red Itchy Lumps In Vagina Along With Yellow Discharge?

I recently got off my period and noticed an itching near the opening of my vagina. It s a constant itch that doesn t go away, and there are these small clusters of red bumps right inside the opening. Also, I have a white to faint yellow discharge and no smell. Also, it hurts when I pee.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to bacterial vaginosis and associated yeast infection. A swab test will be helpful to rule out this. If you were my patient with such condition then I would suggest using vaginal tabs containing combination of clindamycin or metronidazole with clotrimazole. Using intimate wash daily is also good to normalize vaginal bacterial flora and PH. Urine routine examination is also recommended. Do you had any risky unprotected sexual intercourse recently. ? In such case STD tests should be done also.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
