What Causes Red Itchy Rashes All Over The Body?

I slept at a hotel with my husband naked,a couple days later I was irritated between the legs. Also red circles broke out on my body from my forehead to my feet.I thought I was having an allergic reaction to bedbugs because I have very sensitive skin and always break out from insect bites.Anyway after a few days the marks turned black& want go away. They were very itchy though in the beginning.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

You need to get it reviewed by a dermatologist as it can be ring worm infestation and needs to be evaluated. Fungal infections as well as allergic reactions need to be differentiated before starting treatment.

Oral anti histamines like Cetrizine or Loratidine may be needed for itching but Topical treatment should be after examination and determination of the cause.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
