What Causes Red Itchy Sore Bruise At The Site Of IV?
I had my IV removed over 2 weeks ago. When I was hooked up it would stop working and in one instance they restarted it and then put the ABs in which hurt like buggery and got swollen and a little red. In the last week the vein from the site in the middle of my hand to where my watch sits felt bruised. Last night it was itchy and still sore and today it is all red. Any suggestions as to a cause would be great. Going to GP tomorrow for another matter but will ask then.
