What Causes Red Lumps Behind The Ear And Neck Along With Inflammation?

It appears that I was bitten by something on my cheek adjacent to my right ear and now behind my ear is inflamed and little red bumps appearing behind that ear and my neck and also what appears to be a hard small mass under the skin on the lower part of my neck why such a bad reaction from a bite?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that you have been bitten by any poisonous insect/bug/wasp etc and the poisnous substance that is injected by it under your skin has lead to severe allergic reaction leading to red bumps, rashes and a lump under skin in lower part of neck that can be an inflamed lymph node secondary to allergic reaction..
It seems to be a moderate allergic reaction and you need not to worry as it will get resolved soon..
You should take anti allergics like Benadryl or Levocetrizine or Allegra..
Take anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen that will reduce inflammation as well as pain..
You can apply Steroid ointment over the bumps..
Do cool compresses to reduce inflammation..
Apply Calamine lotion as it will reduce inflammation as it will soothe your skin..
