What Causes Red Marbled Patches On Inner Thighs?

I have a discoloration of red marbled patches on both of my inner thighs along with patchy splotches of brown/reddish bruises. Occasionally the bruises itch, but there are no signs of elevation, bumps or a rash. Any ideas what could be causing this?
