What Causes Red Patches Of Dry Skin On Right Side Of Stomach?

I have an oval red/pink patch of dry skin on my right side of my stomach which is flaky and doesn t itch or hurt at all. When i do exercise/sweat it gets redder in color but calms down in a few hours. I have been using a generic verion of Lotromin for a week and have tried 1% cortizone but it doesn t go away. What could it be?
