What Causes Red Raised Bumps On Hips?

my son made me aware of some red raised bumps on his hips. They do not itch, but he is wondering if they could be a result of bed bugs since he is at a conference out of town and sleeping in a hotel on his stomach or maybe a rash from something else? Any thoughts?????

Welcome to health care magic.

I understand your concern.
Yes could be due to insect/bug bite.
But still if it does not itch it leaves with it to be less due to insect bite as itching is present mostly.
So it requires personal clinical examination and visualisation by dermatologist and general lab test lab tests such as haemogram.
Also more details are required whether he is having any temperature.

I hope to have answered your query.
Thanks and regards.
