My son has had a rash develop on his elbows. It is raised bumps that aren t red. Typically hard, no liquid inside. We have been to multiple dermatologist and dr. No one can figure it out. He also takes vyvanse for adhd. Would this have anything to do with it? No rashes anywhere else on the body. He is also very sensitive to any smells.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of red raised lumps on the elbow. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like hair follicle infection, allergic reactions, lymphadenopathy , infection or venous insufficiency. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to apply warm compresses to elbow crease and take antihistamine like zyrtec and keep it elevated while sleeping . Wear loose clothes. Avoid touching or pricking and avoid exposure to sunlight. You should consult dermatologist for proper examination. Doctor may will examine physically and order certain test like blood test and skin patch test. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics along with antiinflammatory medications.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
