What Causes Red Rash On Penis Head After Taking Antibiotics For Tooth Abscess?

Hi, i have a problem i have recently two weeks ago finished a course of antibiotics for a tooth absess, since last week a small red bumpy rash has appeared on the helmet of my penis and also my poo is a bit burny i have told the chemist and he told me to use lanacane cream for both, i have a doctors appointment on monday morning please could you give me some advice

Hello,

The use of antibiotics is associated with impaired balance of body flora including those of gastrointestinal tract and others. Most of the time, there's candida overgrowth. This explains the red rash on top of your genitalia and the burning poop. You can discuss this when you see your doctor. Meanwhile, take probiotics orally (can find over the count). Apply Clotrimazole cream instead of Lanacane cream. Keep good hygiene of your genitalia.
