i am 29 week pregnant with second baby had pre eclamsia on my first and delivered at 26 week i have been unwell for a week with cold like symptoms and now a red rash has appered on my roof of my mouth and the back off my throat look like burst blood vesels
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..
As per your complain it seems like you have a viral throat infection leading to cold and rashes over the roof of mouth and redness in throat seems to be due to infection.. As during pregnancy the immunity of the expecting women is low therefore she is more prone to infections and you need not to worry about it.. You can take a short course of antibiotics like Amoxicillin, painkillers like Acetaminophen, do warm saline gargles, do steam inhalations and sip on plenty of warm water.. Chew Vitamin C pellet.. Avoid spicy and chilled foods.. Gradually as the infection will subside the inflammation will reduce and the rashes will also fade off.. In case if you do not find relief in one week consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated..
Hope this information helps..
