I am 48 and after I sauna I develop a rash around the shaft of my penis. they are like lines that become red and sometimes will actually bleed. I showed my MD and he gave me an antifungal cream and I use that and the next day it has cleared up. He said it was not Herpes but almost like a yeast or heat rash. Also I am assuming because it clears up usually within 10-12 hours it is some kind of reaction. I do use the sauna for an extended period of time like tonigh was over 60 minutes with ice baths in between I checked before I showered and I was fine but after I showered and dried I started to itch. I am beginning to think I may be sensitive to the detergent in the spa towels. I also get blotches on my arms and legs same issue.
