General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi & Welcome.
It seems to be due to Photosensitivity reaction to Ciprofloxacin.
Cifran-CT contains two antibiotics Ciprofloxacin and Tinidazole.
Severe skin reaction (photosensitivity) which can appear as skin eruption or severe sunburn can occur in some patients taking quinolone antibiotics (like Ciprofloxacin) after exposure to sunlight or artificial ultraviolet (UV) light.
Stop taking Ciprofloxacin and consult a doctor for proper evaluation and treatment of high fever, headache, etc.
Hope this will help.
