What Causes Red Rashes On The Inner Side Of Knee?

I have had a perfectly round, red thing on the inner side of my knee for about a week. It looks like a cigarette burn. it is getting larger in diameter and is beginning to get raised. It does not itch or hurt but it is growing and changing but maintaining it s perfect roundness. It is very strange. What could it possibly be?
