What Causes Red Rashes On The Legs?

I have a light red rash which looks like a sunburn on both legs. It seems to be spreading. Is it something that can wait until Monday to go to the doctor with or should I go to emergency? I have a suppressed immune system for which take weekly infusions of Hizentra.

Hi,

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of red rashes on the legs which seems to be due to hair follicle infection leading to folliculitis and it could be allergic dermatitis.

Need not to worry. You should avoid touching or pricking bumps. Apply topical antibacterial ointment. You should apply betnovate ointment on them. You should take course of oral antibiotics. Maintain complete hygiene and keep area little dry. You should wear loose clothes and avoid sharing them with anyone. Visit dermatologist once if symptoms keeps on persisting. Start treatment after complete examination and proper prescription. Get all necessary examination tests done as advised by physician.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
