Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it seems that the symptoms of having warm rashes over the chest and back of the child can be due to
allergic reaction with
amoxicillin that is an antibiotic and rashes is a common presentation of allergic reaction..
I would suggest you to first of all stop taking antibiotic as if you continue with antibiotic then the allergic reaction will not subside although you continue taking
diphenhydramine that us an anti allergic..
You should consult your doctor and get evaluated and a clinical examination and investigations like
blood test [allergic test] can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
As of now you can take anti allergic diphenhydramine or
benadryl or other anti allergics like levocetrizine and do cool compresses over the rashes..
You can also apply calamine lotion to soothe the skin..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
