What Causes Red Spot Under The Armpit With Lump On The Shoulder?

Hi Doc, I have a very red spot under my left arm pit it doesn't seem to go away and it's not from shaving. It is about an inch or more in diameter. I have had it about two weeks.
I also have a very small nodule on my right shoulder about two inches below the collar bone.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have red spot under the armpit with lump on the shoulder . Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to may reasons like allergic reaction , lymph node enlargement , lipoma , insect bite , abscess and breast cancer . I would suggest you to consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor will examine physically , order blood test , skin patch test and biopsy . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics . anti inflammatory , Doctor may also order mammogram to rule out breast cancer . For now keep your skin clean , apply warm compresses and take anti histamine like benadrylHope your concern has been resolved.
