Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Red Spots And Peeling Skin On Inner Thighs?
There appears to be maybe 4-6 red spots, with peeling skin, in my inner thighs near my scrotum. The red spots are slightly smaller then dimes. The spots burn somewhat but not to the point wheres its uncomfortable for me. They appeared maybe 3 days ago.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of red spots and peeling skin on inner thighs which could be due to clogging of sebaceous glands with dead bacteria and sebum as excessive glands are there. It is due to bacterial infection of thigh area which is leading to folliculitis. Need not to worry. You should wear loose clothes and avoid sharing clothes with anyone. I would suggest you to keep the area clean and maintain proper hygiene and dryness. Wash properly with cold water and apply topical antibacterial cream bacitracin. Take oral antibiotics as well. Visit dermatologist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper prescription. You can go for peeling as well.
Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
