Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Red Spots On The Left Side Of The Body With Mild Fever?
I have a sore throat and red spots mostly on the left side uncomfortable to eat even my yogurt strings, plus red spots on my tongue some are raised and others are very red smooth large spots patches. I have a low grade fever. I have a lot of nasal drainage due to bad allergies. I don t think this has anything to do wit my throat but I just received a LESI at my L5-S1 lower back on yesterday afternoon.
Since you received LESI which contains steroid can reduce your immunity levels little low. For sore throat, you need lukewarm water with salt gargling three times a day.
Those red spots are maybe ulcers which require multivitamin tablets (especially Vitamin B6, Vitamin C) for 10-15day.
Within 2-3 days Sorethroat will subside, if it is not subsided then I advise you to consult your Primary care Physician and go though Complet blood picture to look for WBC count and any infection.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Harikrishna Yamjala, Emergency Medicine Specialist
