What Causes Red Spots On The Legs?

over the past week, maybe two, I have noticed a number of reddish spots on my legs, nowhere else. the largest is the size of a dime, there are perhaps a dozen of them. if I pull the surround skin taught, the spot appears to be a tiny circle of small, raised, reddish bumps. inside the circle the color appears lighter, but not regular skin color.

any history of insect bite
maintain strict hygiene
avoid any over the counter cosmetics to the area
any visible scaling
if itching or irritation is there take tablet levo cetrizine once a day after meals
calamine lotion applied locally to soothe
