This red spot appeared on my nose about 3 months ago. It s about 2 mm in size and it is red with what looks like little blood vessels in it leading to almost a small bleeding area in the skin, if that makes sense. It is very very very slighting raised and it doesn t hurt. It is smooth and in the skin. It blanches when I press on it and then right away goes right back to red once I take away pressure. It isn t filled with puss or anything. I went to see my doctor and he said that it doesn t look like skin cancer but that he wasn t sure what it is. He said I didn t need to see a dermatologist but I am making an appointment with one anyway. What could this be? I was worried that it was skin cancer but when I look online it almost resembles a spider angioma but doesn t have like a bunch of blood vessels pointing out of it as it is much smaller. Does skin cancer blanch?
