Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain
sore throat and red spots in the mouth seems to be due to
throat infection which can be bacterial or viral in nature and although
Molluscum Contagiosum is also a viral infection but the sore throat does not seems related to it but looks like common bacterial or viral throat infection..
You should consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and he can advise you throat swab culture to rule out for the exact cause of infection and treatment can be planned accordingly..
As of now do warm saline gargles, steam inhalations, take
Ibuprofen for pain and avoid spicy food..
Chew a vitamin C pellet daily and suck throat lozenges..
Drink plenty of warm fluids..
For red spots over tongue you can gargle with 1:1 solution of benadryl and
milk of magnesia..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
