Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I suffer from red spots at the upper end of my thigh after I stayed in the sun for a long time. I have long history of contact dermatitis. The present case has stayed for more than year. I use pan derm which at times almost cures the redness, then it later returns.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of red spots on the upper thigh which seems to be due to hair follicle infection by bacteria and due to heat rashes.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to maintain cleanliness of area and keep it dry. You should take diet rich in multivitamins and apply betnovate cream 2-3 times a day. You should apply topical antibacterial ointment mupirocin on it. You should apply vitamin E Oil at night as well. Wear loose clothes. Take oral antibiotic course as well. Visit dermatologist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper prescription.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
