General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* As per my clinical experience, the red sticky vaginal discharge during menstruation with difficult retrieval with tissue paper indicates retained clot of blood with uterine epithelial tissue.

* In my clinic, after thorough clinical examination per abdomen and per vaginal, I do recommend ultrasound of transvaginal approach is most method to evaluate the internal issue with uterus if any.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
