What Causes Red Streak Going Down The Right Side Of Left Arm?
I have a red streak going down the right side of my left arm. It looks like a hickey would on your neck except it is about 6" long. It is not swollen nor is it tender to the touch. No fever. I have had Lymes twice before about 8 years ago if that helps any.
It seems that probably you may be having linear skin disease called lichen striatus. It is an idiopathic skin disease of unknown cause. There may be linear dermatitic changes on skinwith erythema. It may gradually increase in size. Topical application of mild steroid cream like mometasone or tacrolimus oint. would be helpful. Sometime, it may clear without treatment. It is a harmless condition, so not to worry. Still, you consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis and treatment.I hope you got my answer.
Thanks.
