What Causes Red, Swollen And Itchy Scrotum And Penis?
Hello. I am a 46 year old male. I recently did some gardening, and am fairly certain that I now have poison oak. However, that is the least of my concerns. With the intense heat we ve had here in Southern Ontario, I have noticed my scrotum and penis to be very red and swollen, and extremely itchy. I often wear baby powder in the genital area to avoid chaffing.

This sounds like tinea cruris--a fungal skin infection
For now you can try topical Lamisil for a week but if that doesn't resolve it you'll need prescription ketoconazole cream
