What Causes Red Swollen Painful Spot On The Hand Post Self Injury?

I got pricked on top of my hand by awild blackberry thorn, several hours later I had pain and cramping felt like paradises, very painful. I took Advil went to bed, today it s red swollen and painful. I m an outdoorsman nothing Evers bothers me like this.

Hi have u removed the thorn from the wound? Give it sometime the redness and swelling will reduce. You can use an ice pack over the wound to reduce the swelling and pain. I hope this helps you. Take care :)
