My 4 year old grandson has had the odd reddish bruise appear on his lower back. He s now got a nearly continuous bruise at the base of his back. His parents have checked his bed in case he s been lying on something but nothing obvious. His spine seems to stick out rather and he s not underweight. Should they be worried?
Nothing to worry. Bruise also called ecchymoses may be due to blunt trauma.
It may vanish by itself.
However, thrombophob oint might enhance the result.
