What Do Numbness And Bruise On The Left Side Of The Hips Indicate?
My husband has been dealing with a pinched nerve in his back for awhile. It causes some numbness on his left side by his hip. This morning he woke up with a large black and blue bruise in the area where he is having numbness. Is this bruise serious? It is about the size of a half dollar.

As there is numbness due to nerve entrapment , there is possibility that he got hit by something at evening itself. Nerve entrapment will not cause bruise. At present just ignore it.
